Sage is a pattern-matched demo. Production agent runs on Claude / GPT-4 with structured outputs, real lawyer matching from our affiliate network, real-time Stripe invoicing on lead delivery, and full audit trail.

Three steps. No friction.

Most legal directories make you fill in a form, hope for a response, then field cold-calls from firms who don't specialise in what you need. We do the opposite: Sage asks the right questions, the right lawyers respond.

01

Chat with Sage

Tell our AI agent what legal matter you have. Sage asks about practice area, state, urgency, and budget — five minutes, no forms, no friction.

02

We match in real time

Sage matches your brief against our vetted network — practice area, jurisdiction, capacity, fit. Up to three lawyers see your anonymised brief and decide whether to respond.

03

Hear from the right lawyer

The lawyers who accept the brief contact you directly — usually within four hours. You pick whoever feels right. You're not committed to anyone until you say so.

Built for the matters founders actually need help with.

Incorporation

Company set-up, shareholder agreements, share structures, ASIC compliance.

Founder agreements

Vesting schedules, IP assignment, founder-leaver clauses, partnership terms.

Capital raising

SAFEs, convertible notes, priced rounds, term sheets, investor agreements.

IP & trademarks

Trademark filing, IP assignment, licensing, confidentiality, ownership.

Tech & SaaS contracts

Customer terms, MSA, DPAs, supplier contracts, licence agreements.

Employment

Employment contracts, contractor agreements, equity grants, share plans.

Privacy & compliance

Privacy policies, Australian Privacy Principles, CDR, data residency.

M&A & exits

Trade sales, acquihires, due diligence, share sale agreements.

Free for you. Lawyers pay us.

We never charge founders. The lawyers in our network pay a per-qualified-lead fee — which means they only pay when the brief is genuinely qualified and they decide to respond. No subscription, no membership fees, no upfront commitment.

Founders & startups

Use Sage. See your matches. Engage whichever lawyer feels right.

No fees, no commission, no obligation. The lawyer you engage charges you directly using their normal fee structure.

No fees from us. The lawyer charges you their normal fee structure once you engage — that's between you and them.

A live pipeline of pre-qualified startup work.

Most legal lead-gen pays you to chase unqualified inquiries. We're built differently: Sage qualifies every matter before you see it — practice area, jurisdiction, urgency, and budget — and only routes briefs that fit your specialisation and capacity.

You pay a fixed per-qualified-lead fee — only when you accept the brief. No subscriptions. No retainers. No paying for the leads you decline.

Common questions.

Is this really free for founders?

Yes — entirely free. We make money from the lawyers in our network who pay a per-qualified-lead fee when they accept your brief. You never pay us, and you're not obliged to engage anyone you don't want to.

How is my information protected?

Your contact details are never shared with a lawyer until that lawyer has accepted your brief. The brief itself is anonymised — lawyers see the matter shape and qualifying details, not your identity, until they've committed to respond.

How are lawyers vetted?

Every lawyer in the network is verified against the relevant state Law Society's practising-certificate register, has a current ABN, holds professional indemnity insurance, and is reviewed for quality after their first three briefs. We remove lawyers whose response rate or client satisfaction drops below threshold.

What if I don't get a match?

If no lawyer in our network responds within 24 hours, we'll let you know and refund any costs (there are none, but we'll also email you directly to apologise and try to source a match outside our usual flow).

Can I use this for non-startup legal work?

We're built specifically for startup-and-tech legal work. If you need help with conveyancing, family law, criminal, or general civil disputes, we'll redirect you to a better-fit service. Don't waste your time or ours.
