// for australian founders

The startup lawyer who gets founders.

Tell Sage what you're working on — incorporation, a SAFE, an ESOP, a term sheet — and she matches you to vetted boutique startup lawyers who do this every day. Free for founders. No quote-chasing, no beauty parade.

// why founders use us

No beauty parade. Just the right lawyer.

01

Vetted specialists

Every firm is Law-Society verified and genuinely startup-focused — not a generalist dabbling.

02

Free for founders

Zero cost to you. Lawyers pay to be in the network, only when they accept a brief.

03

Confidential

Your details stay anonymous until you pick who to talk to. No inbox full of cold pitches.

04

Right-fit, not random

Matched by area and stage — a pre-seed SAFE and a Series A aren't the same brief.

// questions

Common questions.

Is it really free for founders?

Yes — entirely. Lawyers in the network pay a small fee when they accept a qualified brief. The work you engage them for is between you and the firm you choose. You pay us nothing.

How are the lawyers vetted?

Every firm is verified against the relevant state Law Society / Legal Practitioner register, holds current practising certificates and PI insurance, and has demonstrated startup and venture experience. We re-check annually.

Is my information confidential?

Your identity and contact details are never shared until you choose to connect. Firms first see an anonymised brief — area, stage, state — not your name or company.

What if I'm not sure what I need?

That's fine — just tell Sage what you're trying to do in plain words. She'll work out the area and match you to a firm who can advise on the right next step.
